A building that formerly hosted everything from yoga classes to ceramics instruction has been revitalized and transformed into residences in Aalborg's Vestbyen. Following a complete renovation, the building at Dannebrogsgade 43 in Aalborg now presents a modern and inviting appearance, featuring 21 new apartments ready for the people of Aalborg.

Krogh Arkitektur has designed a building at Dannebrogsgade 43 that breathes new life into the existing residential block. It is elevated by its modern appearance with white walls and distinctive dark bay windows, where asymmetrical projections on the facade have also been explored.

Both bay windows and the roof are clad in DS Nordic Click Seam in the color Dark Silver, creating a sharp contrast to the light masonry. The dark color also ensures that the building stands out among the many red bricks typically found in the area, making it impossible to overlook the residences.

Steel roof and façade cladding can be used as a purely practical measure due to their durability and minimal maintenance.
