Trendy Student Accommodations Emphasizing Well-being and Community
With a growing number of students, the shortage of student accommodations has become increasingly apparent over the years. To address this challenge with a solution that prioritizes sustainability, mobility, and community, Scandi Byg has build a series of attractive and distinctive student accommodations at Banevingen 14 in Copenhagen N.
The concept involves small residences housed in decorated "containers" in a variety of colors. The architectural concept is developed in a minimalist design direction, allowing residences to be incredibly inviting with minimal elements through creativity, colors, and significant design freedom. Vibrant colors come to life with facade cladding in colorful steel panels, making the accommodations not only attractive and cozy but also particularly appealing to the residents.
"Tiny houses" are gaining popularity, reflecting a growing societal trend of desiring "less" but "better." This project serves as a fantastic example of this trend. The trend is also evident in the interior design of the accommodations, encouraging residents to make the most of minimal space. With this philosophy, numerous new student accommodations have been successfully created, catering to students who prioritize community, presence, and, not least, affordability.
